A series of arts exhibitions and events from Perth Concert Hall to Giraffe shop programmed in to the Scottish Mental Health Arts and Film Festival, and funded by Awards for All - Scotland.

‘Create Connections –Leave Links' - Art Exhibition

An interesting collection developed around artworks by patients, art therapist, and staff of Moredun B Ward, MRH. The exhibition will be opened by Dr Karen Adam, a consultant in Public Health Medicine with an interest in mental health, wellbeing and the arts.

In collaboration with Alistair Pocock and PLUS Perth. A photographic exhibition representing the personal story of artist Alistair Pocock, from the beginning of his schizophrenia in 1980.

‘Joining Hands' - Art Exhibition

In collaboration with the Walled Garden, Wisecraft and PLUS Perth

This showcase literally uses a hands-on approach to bring people together, creating colourful canvases inspired by Aboriginal painting techniques

‘Words Are Never Wasted' - Drama Production

A multi-layered performance exploring mental health: short pieces of eclectic and truthful writing that will look at issues that affect people with mental health issues on a daily basis. Intimate, visceral, humorous, and poignant, the first half will challenge our assumptions on mental health. The performance will incorporate an eclectic mix of anecdotes, fantasies and persecutions using poems, monologues, dialogues and song.
